My name is Andrea, I graduated from Art school holding now a Bachelor degree in Art, I started teaching in Maryland, the USA in 2016. Later on, I went to Asia, got my TEFL/TESOL certificate and started teaching English in Vietnam, luckily I also found an Art teacher position in a major International school called Little Genius where I worked for the past year. Now I find myself studying a Master's degree in Florence.
My teaching approach focuses on developing an understanding and appreciation for the introduced subject ( Art or English), in Art this being creating interest and ability for creative expression using skills and techniques that also introduce Art history in creative projects, so we can discover and develop talents.
As for the English lessons whether the student is at the beginning or advanced stage, I use different types of approaches that will be adapted to the student’s level. Such as structural, communicative and situational approach ( grammar, vocabulary, real-life topics that develop language use).
