As a current primary classroom teacher at a local private school and with fulltime primary classroom teaching experience in Tokyo, Japan and of Houston, Texas, U.S.A., I have the experience of teaching diverse students from all backgrounds. In addition, as a result of my dedication and love for teaching, I was nominated for the National Association for Alternative Certification Outstanding New Educator award as a first-year teacher in Houston.

Outside of my professional career, I have devoted several hours to philanthropic activity, including mentoring young females in the criminal justice system, teaching a creative writing class to female domestic abuse survivors, and supporting young children in the nationally-recognized Big Brothers Big Sisters organization. Academic success is a goal I have for all of my students.
