I am a 21 year old woman from Copenhagen, living in Trastevere, Rome. I have been living in rome, on and off for the majority of the last year. I was born in Australia and lived in the states as a small child. I grew up bilingual, in a big multicultural family having both English and Danish as my mother tongue.
I have previously worked as a teacher for over a year in Copenhagen teaching, students from ages 10 to 20. I have developed both communication and teaching strategies from this experience, and an understanding of how to effectively adapt to individual needs and different age groups. Which I believe would be an asset, when it comes to finding fun ways to encourage learning without making it feel like a chore. My teaching method is very based on the interests of the student for example finding books and topics that they find intersting and tailoring my teaching to there interests. I have found this very encouraging and effective to learning process, in my experience teaching.
