I have completed the Law and Diplomacy degree at Riga Graduate School of Law. The studying process encompassed specialised English-taught courses focusing on EU law, politics, international relations, media law, humanitarian law, intercultural dialogue, human rights and criminal justice, conflict management. I have graduated within 10% top of the class. Also, I have studied at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands within the framework of Erasmus + Exchange mobility, and have developed an interest in criminal law, furthermore developing strong drafting skills. I am in a process of obtaining Human rights and multi-level governance Masters degree at the University of Padova. The programme’s research and lecturing activities reflect the transnational and transcultural dimensions of human rights studies.

I have been teaching English to elementary, secondary school children and preparing them for school exams, as well as IELTS exams, improving the conversational language.

I have worked in multinational company “Unilever” as the assistant of the General Manager in the Baltic States, working in multicultural environment, were Russian, English and Latvian were used on daily basis. I have assisted in provision of translation from English to Russian and Latvian. The experience has provided great exposure to the fast-passed, multicultural environment, assisting General manager in schedule organisation, logistics, invoice proceeding, drafting daily internal communications/newsletters, assisting the head of the HR unit in recruitment of employees, organising the social event with more than 200 participants, also serving as translator of the speeches from English to Russian and Latvian.
