Hello! My name’s Malithi Kankani, I’m 26 and from Sri Lanka, hence I’m bilingual. I’m a TEFL-qualified English teacher.

I’m an English educator at a nursery school in Piola in the morning and in the afternoon I also work in the kindergarten. As a trained EFL teacher my main goal is to train and guide learners through a variety of practices and materials to become a language expert but if I’m working with the kids or babies I follow much more interesting and fun method with games, songs and stories . I will mostly follow a deductive approach because I believe giving students a sense of autonomy while closely monitoring and correcting them when needed would be much more affective in the long process of learning a new language.
