Back in my country, I always took care of my grandmother. She lives at my house itself. I always took care of her medicine times, her outside chores, banking assistance and even brought all the things she needed from the market. I was always her emotional support and I still am, even on video call.
I understand what elderly people go through when they want some things to be done but do not have the energy to do those things. They need assistance in various aspects and I would be willing to do it. From household chores to cooking for them, and even bringing goods from the supermarket, I would be willing to help them and have a very good rapo with them.
