I hope this letter finds you well, and thank you for viewing my profile and reading this letter.

My name is Bashar, and I am from Syria, 33 years old.
I'm a second-year master's student of civil engineering at the University of Bologna and live in the city of Bologna.
I speak very good English, and I'm learning Italian.
I'm looking for a part-time job as a student to take care of my living expenses. And I'm interested in caregiving for the elderly because I want to experience the true culture of society, and I believe that the best way is by engaging with a family and taking care of the elderly who represent the heritage of the society.
I see myself as a kind person, a true giver who believes that the best way for receiving love and care in life is by giving them, especially to the elderly.
The elderly are people who have lived for a long time and seen a lot in this life, they gave their lives to us and they deserve to be cared for.
I was raised on these values. I've grown up in a loving and warm family, my grandmother (my father's mother) lived with us and raised me and my brother and sister. When I was born, she was about 80 years old, and she died at the age of almost 100.
We have learned from her the true meaning of love, care, and respect. And we took very good care of her during her entire life with us.
Unfortunately, I didn't know my grandfather (my father's dad) who died a long time before my birth.

I also have another warming experience with my other grandparents (my mother's parents).
When I grew up, I lived with them in their apartment for a year. We were just the three of us in the house, me and my 83-year-old grandfather and grandmother.
It was the best year of my life and has my most beautiful memories.
I remember walking with my grandmother every day in the garden, making breakfast, our conversations, and so many amazing moments that I will be happy to live them again with another person.
